MELBOURNE, FL – January 10, 2011 – Richard Bernard, ARNP-BC recently joined the team of specially trained surgeons and staff at TEPAS Healthcare.

After completing his Associates degree from Brevard Community College, Richard attended the University of Central Florida. Here he received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and his Masters of Science in Nursing with an Adult Nurse Practitioner certification. His specialties include breast, general, and vascular surgery. He is board certified by ANCC in adult health.

Before joining TEPAS Healthcare, Richard was employed as Lead Nurse for the cath lab, special procedures, and radiology units at Wuesthoff Medical Center. Also at Wuesthoff, Richard served as Patient Care Coordinator and Assistant Nurse Manager. Previously, Richard worked as a Clinical Charge Nurse at Holmes Regional Medical Center. He has won multiple employee excellence awards.

At TEPAS Healthcare, Richard works closely with Dr. Emran Imami, MD, FACS, FAPWCA, board-certified general and breast surgeon and Dr. Irfan Imami, MD, FACS, ABPH, FAPWCA, board-certified vascular and endovascular surgeon. Richard assists in physical exams, diagnostic interpretation, procedures, and post-treatment care. He also performs IPL, sclerotherapy, laser vein and laser hair removal.
